Evan was a U.S. Army Paratrooper and Animal Care Sergeant. The majority of his 14 year career was spent working independently of a veterinarian, providing direct medical support to Special Operation dog teams at home and abroad.

    Jon served as a Ranger in the United States Army from 2012-2019.  While assigned to the 1st Ranger Battalion he served and deployed as a rifleman, fireteam leader and Multi-Purpose Canine handler. Jon began his second career as a Police Officer in the state of Georgia where he is assigned to the K-9 unit and SWAT team.

    Elise has over thirteen years of military experience, both domestically and overseas, where she fulfilled various operations and tasks. Her primary focus was as a dedicated Medical Technician, providing crucial medical care to Canadian Armed Forces soldiers. Her tasks and skills ranged from chemical casualty care to mountain operations and air insertion. After retiring from the military in 2018, she seamlessly transitioned into her new career as a Police Officer with the Barrie Police Service and also founded Nordik K9. Her newest passion is for conservations and search and rescue and is a dedicated member of the K9 Ranger Project and the Search and Rescue Dogs of Ontario Association.
